My Review(hope this is where I am suppose to post it.) T-Mobile...A Loyal Fan I am loyal to few products and even fewer companies. It has been my experience that at some point in time, everything from television to toilet paper always seems to find a way to consistently disappoint, and as far as customer service goes, what a joke. Between automation and long hold times, the last thing you want to hear when you actually get to talk to a human is someone who is rude, inexperienced, and aggravatingly unhelpful. You either have to deal with an inferior product, poor customer service, or in some less than stellar instances, both. So imagine my surprise to find product and service nirvana in of all things, a cell phone company. Who knew that there was a company out there who gives consistently great service, and who also trains their customer service representatives to not only be courteous and helpful, but shockingly enough…to also be compassionate? Our trip into product heaven began when my husband and I purchased our first cell phone and service from T-Mobile back when it was previously known as VoiceStream. Soon after, our youngest son was born pre-maturely and had a life and death battle in the hospital for several months. During that time, our cell phone was our lifeline, but due to everything going on at the time, we forgot to pay the bill. When our service was shut off, my husband frantically called T-Mobile to explain the situation and pay the bill and reconnection fee, but on hearing our story, T-Mobile went above and beyond customer service. In fact, they were just down right amazing. First, they waved that month’s bill, then they turned our phone back on immediately with no reconnection fee, and finally, they gave us 1000 additional minutes...free! Back then 1000 minutes was like gold, so to us, this was simply unbelievable. Since that time, our son not only survived, but thrived and along the line, we have changed thousands of diapers, cable companies twice, laundry detergent three times, and do not even get me started on internet service providers, but when it comes to cell-phone providers, we are still a loyal T-Mobile family. As T-Mobile customers, we know that we can always get service anywhere we need it and dropped calls are a thing of the past. You know, in a day, age when customer service is either electronic or non-existent and customer satisfaction is rare, it is nice to know that when I call T-Mobile, I will always be able to talk to a courteous and caring customer service representative, and that to T-Mobile, my continued business is truly appreciated. Can you say that about your cell phone provider? If not…maybe it is time you contacted T-Mobile. posted by Person on Member since 20 Aug 10:35
