| Samsung SYNC | 5.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| This is my next phone. The display has large easy to read numbers, one of the key features. Easy to use overall, comfortable to hold and is on the 3G network. 3G will improve call reliability in many problem area's and is also a high speed data connection. I have been a motorola lover until now! Samsung sync, a717 and a727 are great phones with many features. | |
| Motorola KRZR K1 | 2.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| This phone sells but I am not sure why. It is sleek and fashionable, compact. Otherwise it is a razr at a higher price. Motorola always offers easy to use features and that is true here. If you have money to burn this phone might be for you otherwise look at the razr and save your money for things like the bluetooth headset. | |
| AT&T 8525 | 5.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| WOW what a device! It has everything, almost to many things. Where do I begin? It has qwerty keyboard, bluetooth, the 3G data network and wifi. You can edit and change MS Office files then sync them back to the home computer. It currently runs Windows Mobile 5 but a free update of WM6 will be available soon. As a phone it is comfortable to hold and use. As a pda it is loaded with features that a high powered computer geek will appreciate. Data plans are reasonable, pick one that fits your data volume needs. This device has all the usual: txt, email, media net, sync with outlook, download ringtones and games and more. This power user computer geek loves this phone! | |
| Motorola Q | 4.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| i like the fact that it is Motorola and has a qwerty keyboard. I test drove the Q in the store and I was impressed until I went onto the web. VZ data network advertises as being high speed but I was lost daydreaming while I waited for pages to load. Maybe the Q needs more on-board memory. I do not know the answer but before I ever considered Verizon I would have to test more pda phones. | |
| Blackberry Pearl | 4.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| i like the Pearl, just like many of the blackberry devices. I had only one complaint, it does not have qwerty keyboard and I had a difficult time getting use to the predictive text keyboard. If you learn fast and can adapt this is a great device because of its size and all of the blackberry features. RIM produces great phones. | |
| Samsung SGH-D807 | 4.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| This must be a great phone. I say this because many people have been trying to get another one when theirs has problems. at&t warranty department does not have them any more and many customers are complaining because they want the same phone. Refurbished are still being sold for about $157. Comment like "i do not want to switch, I love this phone" can be heard echoing thru our store. | |
| BlackBerry Curve | 5.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| If I ever selected a blackberry this is the one I would buy! The navigation is straight forward and easy. Email setup utilizes a wizard that makes it possible for even the non-geek to be up and running in about 10 minutes. Blackberry service has Push mail, you get mail as soon as your email provider does but at a cost. Blackberry service is more pricey than data packages for other smartphone/pda devices. So far non of the blackberry devices are avialable on AT&T 3G service but from what I have seen with push mail the 3G is not that important. Blackberry has software applications for purchase on the internet but there is not a huge selection like there was for palm an it is a bit more expensive. If you want it primarily for email this is the device for you! | |
| Motorola Razr | 4.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| I have always liked Motorola. The first Razr had many problems, many worked out within the first 6 months. It is a reliable phone, easy to navigate with many features. Quad band allows international travel, bluetooth, voice dialing all make life better. It is durable but I have seen a few where it breaks at the hindge (where it flips from). There is also a ribbon cable to the screen that seems to break over time leaving a working phone and a black screen. These phones are popular, and sell like crazy. Not many come in with problems. Would I buy this phone? YES P.S. look at the new V3xx Razr for more internet/multimedia features. | |
| Samsung Blackjack | 3.0/5 bars, about 1 year ago |
| Blackjack is a good 'general consumer' pda and phone. It is not for the high use business professional. I found the keyboard difficult to use and the fact that it does not have a touch screen made it difficult for me to use. Samsung is producting great products these days so I hope that their next pda phone has some improvements. Windows Mobile 5 is intuitive even though I was a palm user for many years. I like this phone if you are not a heavy user of business applications like Word or Excel. | |
